Celebrating our 150th year in 2014!!

Welcome to the home page of Gol Lutheran Church, rural Kenyon, MN.  We are ONE MILE WEST of the intersection of MN Highways 56 & 60 in Kenyon, and THIRTEEN MILES EAST of Faribault, Minnesota right on MN Highway #60.  See map below.

We are descended from the Norwegian Lutheran Church tradition.  Our founders came mostly from Norway - about 150 years ago - and brought their faith with them.  Gol Lutheran Church was founded in 1864 by the people and pastor of Holden Lutheran Church, Rev. B. J. Muus.

We love the liturgy, we sing the liturgy in the ancient Western European Christianity tradition, and we are identified as a "small family church".  The 168 members of Gol welcome you to browse our website.  Please drop in and join us for worship!
